Since the Acclimitisation Phase will involve frequent changes to targets, parameters and schedules to build an EBSM configuration that works for the Library Service, it is important that regular assessment of these refinements takes place.
This assessment will take different forms in different Library Services, but as an example a Library Service will probably wish to look at the level of action that is being suggested by the EBSM Action Plans - if too much stock is being suggested for removal from shelves then this may be an indication that that the parameters for Dead and Grubby Stock have been set too low.
