Stock Use Data Extraction

For EBSM to work, access is needed to detailed stock use information from a Library Service's LMS, on a regular monthly basis. This information must include details for all current holdings, including information on last use date and number of uses. Typically the information will be available within a MARC21 formatted extract file, which will normally be a standard tool within many LMS systems.

Once data has been successfully extracted, it needs to be stored separately for each month - with each month's data accessible to standard database query tools. This is required in order that the EBSM tools can analyse data over a period of time.
