The EBSM Stock Removal Tools are used to cleanse shelves of poor quality stock. Removing stock that is physically unattractive or is not relevant to what customers want to read will increase the customer's general perception of the overall quality of stock provision.

The two key measurements of poor quality stock addressed are Grubby and Dead Stock.

Removes unpopular stock from shelves

Unread Stock Removal Non Fiction Within each class number group, identifies those individual items which have generated virtually zero use (configurable) - in other words grossly unpopular stock. Only items which have spent a significant time on library shelves (configurable) are identified.

Importantly, this Tool 'tags' items so that they are not purchased again.
